Permitted Uses
- Hosting legitimate business, personal, or organisational websites
- Sending transactional emails related to your own business activities
- Running automated workflows that connect legitimate third-party services
- Operating e-commerce sites that sell legal goods and services
- Hosting online courses and digital products
- Building and testing web applications
Prohibited Uses — You May NOT Use Hordanso for:
Spam and Email Abuse
- Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam) to any recipient who has not explicitly opted in
- Operating email marketing campaigns without proper unsubscribe mechanisms
- Email spoofing or phishing (impersonating other businesses or individuals)
Malware and Security Violations
- Hosting, distributing, or executing malware, viruses, ransomware, or malicious code
- Running tools that perform unauthorised access to other systems
- Operating phishing sites that mimic legitimate websites to steal credentials
Illegal Content
- Any content that violates Nigerian law or applicable international law
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance; reported immediately to authorities
- Content that incites violence, terrorism, or hate crimes
- Piracy of copyrighted software, music, films, or other media
Resource Abuse
- Running cryptocurrency mining scripts that consume excessive server resources
- Operating botnet nodes or participating in DDoS attacks
- Using your hosting account to attack other servers or websites
Fraud
- Operating Ponzi schemes, investment fraud, or advance fee fraud (419 scams)
- Impersonating Hordanso or other businesses in any form
Consequences of Violations
- Minor violations: warning issued, violation must be corrected within 24 hours
- Serious violations: immediate account suspension without prior notice
- Illegal content: immediate suspension and report to relevant authorities
- Repeat violations: permanent account termination
