How to Connect Your Domain to the AI Website Builder
There are two simple ways to connect your domain or subdomain to your AI-generated website. Choose the method that works best for you.
Method 1: Nameserver Update (Recommended)
This is the easiest method. By updating your domain's nameservers, all DNS settings are automatically configured for you.
Step 1: Log in to your Hordanso client area and go to Hosting and Insights for your AI Website Builder service. Step 2: Find the four nameservers listed in the panel (e.g., ns1.hordanso.net, ns2.hordanso.net, etc.). Step 3: Log in to your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain). Step 4: Replace your current nameservers with the four nameservers from Hordanso. Step 5: Save the changes and wait for propagation (usually 1 to 24 hours).
Result: Your domain will automatically point to your AI website. No further DNS configuration needed.
Method 2: A Record Update
If you want to keep your current nameservers (e.g., Cloudflare, your registrar), you can just add an A record pointing to the AI server IP.
Step 1: Log in to your Hordanso client area and go to Hosting and Insights for your AI Website Builder service. Step 2: Copy the Server IP Address displayed in the panel. Step 3: Log in to your DNS provider (Cloudflare, your registrar, or your current hosting control panel). Step 4: Add a new A record with the following details:
Name/Host: @ (for the root domain) OR subdomain (e.g., "shop" for shop.yourdomain.com) Type: A Value/Points to: [Paste the Server IP from Hosting and Insights] TTL: Auto or 300 (5 minutes)
If you want www to also work, add a second A record with Name: www pointing to the same IP, or add a CNAME record pointing www to your main domain.
Result: Your domain or subdomain will resolve to your AI website while keeping your existing DNS settings for email and other services.
