Your domain is your website's address on the internet (e.g., yourbusiness.com). You need to register it before you can use it with hosting, email, or any web service.
Step-by-Step: Registering a Domain
- Go to hordanso.net/domain or click Register a Domain in the top menu.
- Type your desired domain name in the search box (e.g., mybusiness or mybusiness.com).
- Click Search. You will see a list of available extensions (.com, .net, .org, .ng, .com.ng, etc.) and their prices.
- Click Add to Cart next to the domain you want.
- If you want more than one domain (e.g., both .com and .com.ng), add both to your cart.
- Click Checkout.
- Log in or create a Hordanso account if prompted.
- Enter your WHOIS registration details (name, address, email). These are legally required by domain registrars.
- Tick the box for Domain Privacy Protection if you want to hide your personal details from WHOIS lookups (recommended).
- Complete payment. Your domain will be registered within minutes.
