If you registered your domain elsewhere (e.g., Namecheap, GoDaddy) and purchased hosting from Hordanso, you need to point your domain to Hordanso's nameservers so your website and email work correctly.
Hordanso Nameservers
ns1.hordanso.net
ns2.hordanso.net
How to Update Nameservers (General Steps)
- Log in to your domain registrar's account.
- Find the domain you want to update and click Manage or DNS Settings.
- Look for Nameservers or DNS Servers.
- Select Custom Nameservers (or similar option).
- Delete all existing nameservers.
- Add ns1.hordanso.net as Nameserver 1.
- Add ns2.hordanso.net as Nameserver 2.
- Save your changes.
How Long Does It Take?
DNS propagation typically takes 24–72 hours, though it is often much faster (as little as 1–4 hours). During propagation, some visitors may see the old site and others the new one — this is normal.
Tip: You can check if your domain is pointing to the right nameservers by searching for a 'DNS propagation checker' online and entering your domain name.
What If Your Domain Is Registered with Hordanso?
If you registered your domain with Hordanso, nameservers are set automatically when you add hosting. You do not need to change anything.
What If I Only Want to Change DNS Records (Not Nameservers)?
If you use Cloudflare or another DNS provider, do not change the nameservers. Instead, add individual DNS records (A record, CNAME, MX) from within your DNS provider's dashboard. See How to Add an A Record, CNAME, and MX Record (DNS-04).
