If you cannot access your cPanel account, here is a step-by-step guide to diagnose and fix the problem.
Fix 1: Use the Client Portal One-Click Login
This bypasses the cPanel login screen entirely and logs you in automatically:
- Go to clients.hordanso.net and log in.
- Click Services > My Services.
- Find your hosting plan and click Manage.
- Click Login to cPanel.
If this does not work, continue to the other fixes below.
Fix 2: Check Your Credentials
- Your cPanel username is NOT the same as your email — find it in the client portal under Services > Manage
- Passwords are case-sensitive — check Caps Lock
- Try copy-pasting the password from a text document to avoid typos
Fix 3: Reset Your cPanel Password
- Log in to clients.hordanso.net.
- Go to Services > My Services > Manage.
- Click Change Password.
- Enter and confirm a new password, then click Save.
Fix 4: Unblock Your IP Address
Too many failed login attempts will block your IP. Find your IP at whatismyip.com and contact support to unblock it. See How to Unblock Your IP Address (SEC-03) for detailed steps.
Fix 5: Check if Your Account is Suspended
- Log in to clients.hordanso.net.
- Go to Services > My Services.
- If your hosting plan shows Suspended, check Billing > My Invoices for any unpaid invoices.
- Pay the overdue invoice. Your account will be unsuspended automatically within minutes.
Fix 6: Wrong Port or URL
- cPanel uses port 2083 (HTTPS). Make sure your URL looks like: yourdomain.com:2083 or https://[server-IP]:2083
- If a corporate firewall blocks port 2083, use the client portal one-click login instead
