What the Integration Does
- Creates or updates a contact in GHL when a new WhatsApp message is received
- Adds the customer's name, phone number, and message as a note or conversation in GHL
- Moves the contact to the correct pipeline stage based on their intent (e.g., 'Interested' if they ask for pricing)
- Triggers GHL automation workflows (e.g., send a follow-up SMS after 24 hours)
- Applies tags (e.g., whatsapp_lead, pricing_enquiry) for easy filtering
Requirements
- A Hordanso WhatsApp AI Plus plan (₦5,000/month) — the Standard plan supports basic payment links but full CRM integration requires Plus
- An active Hordanso Marketing Suite subscription ($50/month) or your own GoHighLevel sub-account
- Your GHL Location ID and API Key
How to Get Your GHL API Key and Location ID
- Log in to your GHL sub-account.
- Click Settings (gear icon) in the left sidebar.
- Click Business Info and note your Location ID (shown at the top of the page).
- In Settings, click API Keys.
- Click Create API Key. Give it a name (e.g., Hordanso WhatsApp Integration).
- Set the permissions to include Contacts (Read/Write) and Conversations (Read/Write).
- Copy the generated API key.
How to Submit Your GHL Credentials to Hordanso
- Open a support ticket at clients.hordanso.net.
- Subject: WhatsApp AI — GHL Integration Request.
- Include your GHL Location ID and API Key in the ticket.
- Tell us which pipeline and stage you want new WhatsApp leads added to.
- Our team will configure and test the integration within 24–48 hours.
Important: Never share your GHL API key publicly or in plain emails. Always use a support ticket (which is accessed via your secure client portal login) to share API credentials with Hordanso.
