How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Your Account

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Hordanso client portal account. Even if someone gets your password, they cannot log in without the 6-digit code from your phone.

What You Need

  • An authenticator app installed on your phone:
    • Google Authenticator (Android and iOS — free)
    • Authy (Android and iOS — free, also backs up codes)
    • Microsoft Authenticator (Android and iOS — free)

How to Enable 2FA on Your Hordanso Client Portal

  1. Log in to clients.hordanso.net.
  2. Click on your name or profile icon at the top right.
  3. Click Security Settings.
  4. Find the Two-Factor Authentication section and click Click here to Enable.
  5. Open your authenticator app on your phone.
  6. Tap the + button in the app to add a new account.
  7. Choose Scan QR Code and scan the QR code shown on the Hordanso screen.
  8. Your authenticator app will show a 6-digit code. Enter this code in the Verification Code field on Hordanso.
  9. Click Submit. 2FA is now active on your account.

How 2FA Works When You Log In

  1. Enter your email and password as normal.
  2. You will be prompted for a verification code.
  3. Open your authenticator app and enter the current 6-digit code (it changes every 30 seconds).
  4. Click Verify. You are now logged in.

Important: Save your backup codes when shown — if you lose your phone, these are the only way to access your account. Store them in a password manager or print them and keep them safe.

How to Disable 2FA

  1. Log in (using your password + 2FA code as normal).
  2. Go to Account > Security Settings.
  3. Click Disable Two-Factor Authentication.
  4. Confirm by entering your current 2FA code.

Note: If you have lost access to your authenticator app and cannot log in, contact Hordanso support via email with proof of identity. We will disable 2FA after verifying your identity.
