Auto-renewal ensures your hosting, domains, and other services are renewed automatically before they expire — so your website and email never go down because of a missed payment.
How to Enable Auto-Renewal
For Hosting Plans
- Log in to clients.hordanso.net.
- Click Services > My Services.
- Click Manage next to your hosting plan.
- Look for the Auto Renew setting. Enable it.
For Domain Names
- Log in to clients.hordanso.net.
- Click Domains > My Domains.
- Click Manage next to your domain.
- Enable the Auto Renew toggle.
How Auto-Renewal Works
- Hordanso sends an invoice for renewal automatically before your service expires (usually 14–30 days before the expiry date)
- If you have a saved payment method on file, the invoice is charged automatically
- If no payment method is saved, you will receive an email with the invoice — pay it manually to renew
- After successful payment, your service expiry date is extended by the renewal period
How to Save a Payment Method for Auto-Renewal
- Log in to clients.hordanso.net.
- Click Account in the top menu.
- Click Payment Methods.
- Click Add Payment Method and follow the prompts to save your card.
Important: Auto-renewal only charges if your saved payment method is valid and has sufficient funds. If the charge fails, your service will not renew automatically. Set a calendar reminder as a backup.
Renewal Reminder Emails
Hordanso sends reminder emails at 30 days, 14 days, 7 days, and 3 days before expiry. Make sure your registered email address is active and not blocking Hordanso emails from going to spam.
Tip: For domain names specifically, set auto-renewal to ON as soon as you register. A domain that expires even for a day can be registered by someone else if it becomes available.
