You can cancel any Hordanso service at any time from your client portal. Here is how to do it.
How to Request a Cancellation
- Log in to clients.hordanso.net.
- Click Services > My Services.
- Find the service you want to cancel and click Manage.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the product page and click Request Cancellation.
- Choose the cancellation type:
- Immediate — the service is cancelled and deleted right away. This is irreversible.
- End of Billing Period — the service remains active until the current paid period ends, then cancels automatically.
- Enter a reason for cancellation (optional but helps us improve).
- Click Request Cancellation.
- You will receive a confirmation email. If you change your mind, you may be able to reverse the cancellation before it takes effect — contact support immediately.
Before You Cancel — Things to Do
- Download a full backup of your website files and databases (cPanel > Backup Wizard)
- Export your n8n workflows as JSON files if cancelling an n8n VPS
- Save any important emails before cancelling email hosting
- Transfer your domain to another registrar if you are cancelling hosting but want to keep the domain — the domain and hosting are separate services
Important: Cancelling a hosting plan deletes all your website files, databases, and email permanently. This cannot be reversed. Always download a backup first.
Cancelling a Domain vs Cancelling Hosting
- Cancelling hosting does NOT cancel your domain — they are separate services
- If you cancel hosting but keep the domain, your website will go offline but your domain remains yours
- To cancel a domain registration, you simply let it expire — do not renew it when you receive the renewal notice
