If you suspect a Hordanso server outage, here is how to verify and get updates.
Method 1: Check if Your Site Is Down for Everyone
- Go to downforeveryoneorjustme.com.
- Type your domain name and click the button.
- It's just you — your site is reachable globally. The problem is with your local internet, browser cache, or IP block. See Can't Login to cPanel — Fix Guide (TS-08) or clear your browser cache.
- It's not just you — the site is globally unreachable. This could be a server outage. Proceed to Method 2.
Method 2: Ping the Server
From your terminal (Mac/Linux) or Command Prompt (Windows), ping your server IP:
ping your-server-IP
- Replies received — the server is online. The web server (Apache/Nginx) may have crashed while the server itself is running. Contact support.
- Request timeout / no replies — the server is not responding. This is a potential outage.
Method 3: Contact Hordanso Support
WhatsApp: +(234) 707 542 1523
Message: 'Is there a current outage for [your server IP or domain]?'
Our team will confirm if there is a known issue and provide an estimated resolution time.
Method 4: Check UptimeRobot (Advanced)
If you want to monitor your own server uptime proactively, set up a free UptimeRobot account at uptimerobot.com. Add a monitor for your domain — UptimeRobot checks it every 5 minutes and sends you an email and SMS alert the moment it goes down.
Hordanso's Uptime Commitment
